An access track runs through the land providing excellent access to the grassland.
SITUATION / LOCATION
The land is located on the Settrington Estate, short distance east of the villages of Settrington and North Grimston.
The land is accessed via a tarmac roadway off Hogg Lane, which leads directly to the grassland.
The market town of Malton is situated approximately 6 miles west and operates twice weekly livestock markets. Livestock markets are also found locally at York, Thirsk and Selby.

The successful applicant will be required to sign a grazing licence with the following details in brief:
Licence Fee: Paid in advance of entry
Licence Period: 1st April 2019 – 30th September 2019
Cultivations: Not to plough or reseed
Stock: To be grazed by sheep only
Spray/fertiliser: No applications of sprays or fertiliser to be applied by the grazier
Cross Compliance: To adhere to the Cross- Compliance Regulations
Basic Payment Scheme: Claimed by the landowner and does not form part of this grazing licence
Stewardship Schemes: The land is in an HLS agreement up to and including 31/03/2019.
Site of Specific Scientific Interest (SSSI):
Must adhere to GAEC 7d and management requirements of Nine Springs Dale SSSI (details included in Appendix 1)
